Our Coconut string is handmade by the Araliya Community Company in Sri Lanka which provides training and employment for underprivileged local mothers and differently-abled young women. Araliya, which is Sri Lankan for the frangipani flower are guided by the principles of Fair Trade, providing sustainable employment, a living wage, economic stability and a safe and positive working environment.
